Instructor Rita Tyler

Rita TylerRita earned her first Championship on her Australian Cattle Dog Cara in 1989 (CH. Bryn Mawrs Cara Weejun). She has been instructing Agility and Obedience classes since 1999, while successfully competing in Agility, Obedience, Lure Coursing and Scent Work with her dogs. She has also trained and handled in Agility with many different breeds owned by others, including: Belgian Tervurens, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Belgian Sheepdogs, Australian Shepherds, and more. Rita has been blessed with exceptional working dogs, and she is most proud of the bond she has formed with each and every one of the dogs she has handled and trained, for they have made her a better handler. To dog fanciers, and pet owners- Don’t judge a book by its cover, take the time to look within and find the beauty of its contents. What she likes most about training and being an instructor is problem-solving and breaking down the exercises to the simplest form. She enjoys when the owners have achieved their desired training goals, and she does her best to help make that possible.
